DMV Mobile Unit brings make-up stop to Columbus

DMV’s recent visit was cancelled due to network problems. To make up for the cancelled April 14 visit to Columbus by the DMV Mobile Unit, the unit will return to the Polk County License Plate Agency on Thursday, April 28. The unit’s two driver license examiner stations will be set up inside the LPA at 51 Walker St.

The unit had to cancel its earlier visit due to technology system issues that caused problems with connecting to the DMV network.

Citizens are invited to visit the unit to complete their driver license and ID card business between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The mobile office can be reached at 252-425-3301.
