Polk County District Court results for Dec. 30

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 55 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Corey Randal Dinsmore was convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Dinsmore was sentenced to 120 days in jail.

Logan Kane Glance was convicted of spotlight deer/night deer hunt. Glance was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $500 fine and court costs.

Gary Michael Griffin was convicted of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Griffin was sentenced to two years supervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Harley Evan Maybin was convicted of rear seatbelt violation. Maybin was fined $100.

Joni Renea McCarty was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. McCarty was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Judson Bennett Pharez was convicted of speeding 110 mph in a 65 mph zone. Pharez was fined $110 and court costs.

Thomas M. Rathbone was convicted of spotlight deer/night deer hunt. Rathbone was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $500 fine and court costs.

Robson Eli Strobel was convicted of speeding 110 mph in a 65 mph zone. Strobel was fined $110 and court costs.

Issac William Wofford was convicted of littering not greater than 15 lbs. Wofford was fined $50 and court costs.
