Former Polk County Sheriff Officer Josh Denton could be heard on an appeal Monday during a Polk County Superior Court session. Denton was found guilty of assault on a female following an alleged tasing incident at the sheriffs office a couple of years ago. Denton appealed his conviction and is awaiting a new trial.
