The April meeting of the Foothills Music Club was held on April 14 at Tryon First Baptist Church. The FMC members were delighted to hear outstanding performances by the recent Young Musician Scholarship winners: Colby Hardin, classical guitarist; Emma Buckner, violinist and Laura Packer, marimbist. Also on the program were FMC pianists, Karen Crutchfield and Jim Hawkins.

 

Since 1994, the Foothills Music Club has awarded more than $58,500 in scholarships to promising young musicians in the area. More info about FMC can be found at:  www.foothillsmusicclub.org.
