Tractor Supply has plans to occupy former Bi-Lo in Columbus

COLUMBUS-Tractor Supply has plans to occupy the former Bi-Lo building in Columbus as consultants came to Columbus on Thursday, Nov. 16 to get permits.

Columbus Town Council met Thursday and heard from town manager Tim Barth regarding Tractor Supply.

Barth said a consulting company representing Tractor Supply came into town hall to receive a zoning permit.

“A consulting company came in today who represents Tractor Supply and they got a zoning compliance permit for the old BiLo,” Barth told council during his manager’s report. “And they have submitted that along with other documentation to the building inspection department so they are getting ready to pull building permits.”

The closest Tractor Supply stores are in Forest City and Spartanburg, S.C.
