The tasting room at Mountain Brook Vineyards, a boutique family vineyard in Tryon, is now open on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The third Thursday of every month is Girls Night! Gather your best girlfriends and enjoy food, wine, and fun at MBV from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. With the addition of their new Thursday hours, MBV’s tasting room will now be closed on Sundays.

All of the wines at Mountain Brook Vineyards are made of 100 percent North Carolina grapes, which are harvested by hand and fermented separately in oak barrels and unoaked stainless steel tanks. Estate grown fruit constitutes the majority of wines produced. Owners Miriam and Dennis Lanahan encourage you to check out MBV’s tasting room as a venue for private parties, including birthday parties, bridal showers, anniversaries, book club meetings, etc.
