Polk County District Court results for Oct. 15

In Polk County District Court on Oct. 15, 204, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 220 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Stephen J. Affatato was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Affatato was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Fawaz Alfadhli was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Alfadhli was to pay court costs.

Celestiel Lenor Balson was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Balson was fined $50 and court costs.

Lewis H. Burnett Jr. was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Burnett was fined $100 and court costs.

Stevie Wolfe Breland was convicted of impaired equipment. Breland was fined $40 and court costs.

Marvin L. Byrom was convicted of injury to personal property. Byrom was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, $200 in restitution and court costs.

Erik Zachary Charping was convicted of possession of schedule II controlled substance, simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, go armed to the terror of the people and breaking and or entering. Charping was sentenced to 45 days in jail for possession of schedule II and schedule IV controlled substance and 45 days in jail with credit for time served and court costs for go armed to the terror of people and breaking an or entering.

Todd C. Davidson was convicted of impaired equipment. Davidson was fined $40 and court costs.

John Wesley Dool was convicted of speeding 64 mph in a 55 mph zone. Dool was fined $83 and court costs.

Richard Blane Dudley was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Dudley was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.

Lisa Pearlsi Faulkner was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of schedule II controlled substance. Faulkner was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Jack Andrew Foster II was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Foster was to pay court costs.

Trevor Scott Garner was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Garner was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Andrew Michael Gates was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Gates was fined $30 and court costs.

Cassidy Lynn Giles was convicted of impaired equipment. Giles was fined $40 and court costs.

Jared Gilliard was convicted of impaired equipment. Gilliard was fined $40 and court costs.

Morgan Lindsey Herfel was convicted of impaired equipment. Herfel was fined $40 and court costs.

Jacqueline Kasey Hill was convicted of possession of stolen goods/property. Hill was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.

Nicholas S. Kokinakos was convicted of impaired equipment. Kokinakos was fined $40 and court costs.

Dewayne Mitchell was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Mitchell was fined $90 and court costs.

Samantha Nichole Morris was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Morris was fined $100 and court costs.

Thomas Grayson Oder was convicted of speeding 54 mph in a 40 mph zone. Oder was fined $40 and court costs.

Dillon Jarret Presley was convicted of camping on closed game lands. Presley was fined $125 and court costs.

Marshall Alan Pye was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Pye was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Lucas Denton Scoggins was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. Scoggins was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Zachary Levi Smith was convicted of larceny by trick. Smith was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for time served.

Connie Diane Spicer was convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Spicer was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit and court costs.
