Polk County District Court results for Sept. 10

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 200 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Elizabeth E. Burrell was convicted of impaired equipment. Burrell was fined $40 and court costs.

Jamin Wesley Carithers was convicted of underage consumption of alcohol. Carithers was to pay court costs.

Chad Michael Collins was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Collins was fined $100 and court costs.

Brian Daniel Cornelius was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Cornelius was fined $30 and court costs.

Mason Riley Delude was convicted of impaired equipment. Delude was fined $40 and court costs.

Jenna Marie Eades was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Eades was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Robert Michael Ford was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon and impaired equipment. Ford was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $250 fine and court costs for possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon and fined $40 and court costs for impaired equipment.

Norman Alfred Goodwin was convicted of driving while license revoked. Goodwin was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.

Vivian Jones Johnson was convicted of impaired equipment. Johnson was fined $40 and court costs.

Gabriel Quincy Lail was convicted of driving while impaired-motor boat/vessel. Lail was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $250 fine and court costs.

Anthony Lee was convicted of break or enter a motor vehicle and larceny after break/enter. Lail was sentenced to six-17 months in prison with credit for 222 days. Carly Melissa Marlowe was convicted of speeding 34 mph in a 25 mph zone. Marlowe was to pay court costs.

Christopher D. McCall was convicted of impaired equipment. McCall was fined $90 and court costs.

Mandi Raye Metcalf was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Metcalf was sentenced to 60 days in jail and court costs.

Dustin Revis Morris was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Morris was to pay court costs.

Duy Khang Nguyen was convicted of impaired equipment. Nguyen was fined $40 and court costs.

Stephen Parsons was convicted of impaired equipment. Parsons was fined $40 and court costs.

Julia Ramirez Ramirez was convicted of no operator’s license. Ramirez was fined $50 and court costs.

Jennifer Lynn Schimpf was convicted of impaired equipment. Schimpf was fined $40 and court costs.

James S. Shiner was convicted of impaired equipment. Shiner was fined $40 and court costs.

Oqavious Travio Smith was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Smith was fined $30 and court costs.

Amber Leah Snelson was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Snelson was fined $100 and court costs.

Jasoon Sollowin was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Sollowin was fined $30 and court costs.

Aunyette Evett Surratt was convicted of impaired equipment. Surratt was fined $40 and court costs.
