The Mill Spring Agricultural Center is hosting an indoor farmers market on Saturday, March 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Last month’s seed swap was such a success with local growers that this market will also feature a chance to swap with your neighbors for some heirloom and unique varieties. Seed catalogs will also be available for free.
The market also plays host to a chicken swap on that day. Last month’s swap was a little slow but breeders have reported they have more chicks this time ready for sale. This month will also feature the return of the Hugelkultur: Ultimate Raised Beds class, taught by Patrick McLendon and will go from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Vendors are welcome and should call the Ag Center to register ahead of time. The Ag Center is located at 156 School Road in Mill Spring and information can be found at
www.polkcountyfarms.org or in person at the Ag Center.
