The Tryon Daily Bulletin aims to provide you with as much information as possible about your community. We especially want to provide you with information that allows you to get involved, get to know your neighbors and get the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful place we all call home.

One of the great and complicated parts of living in such an active community is that some weekends there are more events going on than even we can keep up with easily.

We’d like to help organizations and community members plan ahead for their big events. To do so, we want to enhance our community calendar.

In recent months, Carol Browning has worked hard to compile a Master Arts Calendar for the area. This calendar includes a variety of great events that organizations may use to better plan further down the road.

We’d like to do something similar for all organizations – arts organizations, churches, little league groups, civic organizations, schools and more. We already get so many great items from you all, but we’d like to have more to assist people in making plans to enjoy the beautiful area. We’d especially like to know about your events scheduled for months down the road. Having these available to the public might help make sure no two organizations have fundraising dinners on the same night, for example. Or it might allow your group to plan an event on a weekend you know a lot of people will be in town. We look forward to hearing from you.
