The Polk County Planning Board will meet Thursday, July 12 at 5 p.m. at the Bryant Womack Justice & Administration Center, 40 Courthouse Street in Columbus.
Rick Wooten, senior geologist for geohazards and engineering geology with the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Division of Land Resources – Geological Survey, will be present at the meeting.
The board will continue to review the draft of the Polk County Unified Development Ordinance (UDO).
