One of the most powerful forces in the journey toward healing is the support and understanding of others who have walked similar paths. Recognizing this truth, Steps to Hope continues to extend its compassionate embrace to women in need through its Women’s Support Group.

Navigating through the complexities of life, whether past traumas or current struggles, can often feel isolating. However, the Women’s Support Group at Steps to Hope provides a sanctuary for women of all backgrounds and affiliations to come together, share their stories, and find solace in the company of others who understand.

“Whether you’re coping with something from the past or facing challenges in the present, we want you to know that you’re not alone,” says Diane Nelson, Executive Director at Steps to Hope. “Our Women’s Support Group offers a healing atmosphere where women can connect, support each other and find strength.”

The group meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m., providing a consistent space for women to gather, share, and heal. Led by experienced advocates, the sessions offer a blend of structured activities, open discussions, and supportive interactions tailored to meet the diverse needs of participants. Through shared experiences and shared strength, women in the group find the courage to confront their challenges and embrace their journeys.
