Lake Adger Celebration set for May 11

Conserving Carolina, Polk County Parks and Recreation, and MountainTrue will host the Lake Adger Celebration on Saturday, May 11, from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Lake Adger Boat Ramp.  

This is a free, family-friendly event open to the public. Families and people of all ages are invited to come and enjoy the lake! Activities include guided kayak tours, fishing demonstrations, kid-friendly crafts and activities, and more! There will be live music provided by Conspiracy Thiry’s from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.! 

Make the most of this special occasion by bringing a picnic and spending quality time with your family by the water. It’s a perfect opportunity to create lasting memories in a beautiful setting.

Organizations and exhibitors at the event include Conserving Carolina, MountainTrue, Polk County Parks and Recreation, Foothills Humane Society, the Muskie Club, Polk County Library, Pisgah Chapter Trout Unlimited, Blue Ridge Audubon, Hemlock Restoration Initiative, Foothills Equestrian Nature Center, and the Kudzu Warriors.

This event is hosted in partnership with the Lake Adger Property Owners Association, Inc.
