Polk County notched its second win of the season Wednesday, topping Patton 5-3 in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference match.
The Wolverines (2-5) took four of the day’s six singles matches, then clinched the team win when Banks Barber and Riley Ballentine won the No. 1 doubles match.
Barber, Ballentine, Charlie Jackson and Morgan Allen scored singles wins for the Wolverines.
Polk County is scheduled to next be in action on Monday, traveling to Brevard.
