TRYON—Brannen Basham and Jill Jacobs, owners of Spriggly’s Beescaping, will be the featured guests at The Congregational Church, UCC, in Tryon as we celebrate Earth Day 2024. Spriggly’s Beescaping concentrates on habitat restoration and landscape design that supports and protects our native bees and pollinators. Its main focus is on education.

Brannen and Jill are passionate and enthusiastic about beautiful and beneficial landscapes, landscapes where people and nature intersect in support of each other, creating an environment where everyone can flourish.

The community is invited to join the church for this Earth Day Garden Party on Sunday, April 21, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., highlighted by a presentation on native plants and pollinators and a tour of our gardens, a work in progress as the church transitions from merely beautiful and conventional to gardens that are beneficial and native by design.
