Shanks will announce the winner of a charity raffle for a Liquidlogic Saluda 12, a recreational kayak valued at over $1,000. Raffle proceeds benefit MountainTrue’s Green Riverkeeper efforts to protect the Green River Watershed.

“We’re so glad to be joining our friends at Green River Adventures as the nonprofit beneficiaries of the Spring Green Bash again this year,” says Shanks. It’s always a blast and a great time for folks to get outside and celebrate the Green River and our awesome community.”

Tim Bell, owner of Green River Adventures, says that this is a great way to kick off a season of fun in the Green River Gorge.

“We’re thankful for all of the work the Green Riverkeeper does to keep the Green River Watershed beautiful for all of the people and businesses that enjoy it,” he says.

The Spring Green Bash is presented by Green River Adventures and sponsored by MountainTrue, Oskar Blues Brewery, BIG Adventures Kayak Factory Store, Liquidlogic, Looking Glass Realty, WNCW 88.7 and The Gorge Zipline.
