The celebration will feature food trucks, bouncy houses, face painting, and many local vendors. Local groups Random Act and the Green Grass Cutters will provide music. The event will also kick off the Columbus Farmers Market.

The festival, founded by Jenny and Kevin English of Bear’s Den Trading Post in conjunction with Discover Columbus, is currently looking for vendors to fill the 57 available spots.

“The vendors are trickling in,” says Jenny. “We plan on making it an annual event. We hope next year will be even larger.”

Vendor spaces will be fifteen by fifteen feet, and application fees are $25 for vendors and $50 for food trucks. Set up time for vendors is 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. the day of the event. The application deadline for standalone food trucks is April 22, with all other vendors having an April 30 application deadline. Water and power will not be provided for vendor stalls.

The Columbus Spring Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. along Gibson St. in downtown Columbus across from Stearns Park. The rain date for the event will be May 11.
