TRYON—Children’s Theatre of Charlotte and Sigmon Theatrical will perform shows at the Tryon Fine Arts Center during this year’s Super Saturday festival.

Children’s Theatre of Charlotte will present Schoolhouse Rock Live at 9:15 and 10:30 a.m. Schoolhouse Rock aired on ABC’s Saturday morning children’s block from 1973-1984 and was later revived from 1993-1996. It featured animated musical educational short films including grammar, science, economics, history, math and civics lessons–all set to music. Organizers are also grateful to the Polk County Community Foundation for administering the George and Ester Moore Endowment Fund, Arthur M. and Frances H. Wilhelm Fund, the Dixie and Harry Evans Charitable Endowment Fund and the Super Saturday Fund. The Tryon Fine Arts Center stage is sponsored by Ernest Hemingway platinum sponsors, the Ann L.
