Foothills Humane Society’s Pets of the week – Eileen & Navy

Published 11:53 am Friday, December 22, 2023

Meet Eileen, pronounced “I lean,” because she will lean into you affectionately for love and cuddles. She gives standing hugs too, wrapping her front legs around you and staring into your eyes, to say I love you!

Eileen is good with most other dogs and does well walking on a leash. She enjoys play time with toys and going on walks. But honestly what she enjoys most is being around her people. She connects quickly and loves to be near you. She knows some commands like paw and sit, and is treat-motivated so we think she will learn other commands quickly.

Eileen is 9 months old and weighs about 42 lbs. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and waiting for her forever home!

If you’re interested in meeting with or adopting Eileen, please submit an adoption application at foothillshumanesociety.org.

Meet Navy! She’s as cool as a cucumber.

She is very tolerant and loves affection! She tends to lean towards being independent, but she does love to be in the same room and keep tabs on you!

Navy would do well in a relaxed environment where she can do her favorite thing: nap in the sun!

She does very well with her other feline friends. Because of her cool, low-key demeanor, we believe she would do fine around children who would not engage her to play a lot. We believe she would do fine around low-energy or senior dogs with a slow introduction.

Navy is 5 months old, weighs 5lbs and is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations and she is SPONSORED!

If you’re interested in adopting Navy, please fill out an adoption application on our website foothillshumanesociety.org.
