Various Landrum Farmers Market vendors donated items for a gift basket and raffle tickets were sold at the market to raise funds for the donation, which amounted to $723.

“The vendor response was overwhelming!” said James, the Landrum Farmers Market assistant manager. “We received donations of Christmas ornaments, craft items, jelly, a cutting board, crocheted items, artwork and many other items to create a beautiful gift basket.”

The donation to the Legends of the Anne Regan Aging Well Center will be used to fund and expand wellness programs for senior citizens in Landrum, Campobello, Inman, Columbus and Tryon.

“The Farmers Market is committed to the Landrum community, and we hope this donation will further the goals of the Anne Regan Center,” Gunter said.
