Fun for both kids and adults, the events will see the historic building transformed into the North Pole, complete with a visit from Santa Claus himself. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be available for photos with visitors, and Tryon Little Theater’s singers will provide entertainment while guests enjoy hot cocoa and warm cookies.

“There’s music, there’s refreshments, Christmas carols and Mr. and Mrs. Claus,” said Jody McPherson, TLT volunteer and associate. “Different TLT actors and singers will perform a variety of Christmas carols.”

Thursday’s event is intended for adults, while the Saturday presentation is oriented more toward children.

“I can’t wait to take my granddaughters there on Saturday!” said Sunnydale Booking Agent Helen Byrd.

The Tryon Little Theater has provided live theater and educational opportunities to the community for over 75 years. The Sunnydale Building, located at 334 S. Trade St., was built in 1930 and gifted to the Tryon Little Theater in 2011.

Tickets for the event are $10, and donations are welcomed. “Here Comes Santa Claus” will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, and at 3 p.m on the following Saturday. For tickets or more information visit tltinfo.org or call 828-859-2466.
