Representative Jake Johnson (NC House District 113) will be the guest speaker at the Friends of Ag Breakfast at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, December 13 at the Green Creek Community Center. 

Representative Johnson will share initiatives from the State and local levels to support and protect agriculture in our area.

This event is free and open to the public. Local farmers, growers, and other food producers provide fresh ingredients for a delicious complimentary country breakfast.

This month’s FOA breakfast sponsors are AgSouth Farm Credit, Green Creek Farm Supply and Overmountain Vineyards.

This historic breakfast has been held for the past 12 years featuring speakers from many local farms and other agricultural experts in their field. It is the place to meet your neighbors and connect with community support agencies that are here to help us all maintain our beautiful, rural agricultural county. 

This event is held at the Green Creek Community Center (25 Shields Drive in Tryon).

To be sustainable, please bring your coffee mug and plate. A complimentary breakfast will be served. Friends of Agriculture Breakfast is held on the third Wednesday (except for December) of every month November through May.
