COLUMBUS—In an inspiring demonstration of unity and support, the Polk County Health and Human Services team recently collaborated with dedicated community volunteers to prepare over 800 meals for Meals on Wheels clients.

In response to the pressing needs of vulnerable individuals in the area, the Health and Human Services team harnessed their expertise and passion for service to make a significant impact. Recognizing the vital role played by the Meals on Wheels program, the team worked seamlessly alongside committed volunteers, showcasing the strength that emerges when individuals unite for a common cause.

This joint effort not only provided essential nourishment to Meals on Wheels clients but also fostered a sense of connection and support within the community.
