Polk County suffered another close loss Wednesday, falling 72-66 at Pisgah in a non-conference boys basketball battle.

The Wolverines dropped to 0-3, with all three losses by six points or less. Pisgah improved to 3-0.

The Bears built a 39-27 halftime lead, but Polk County rallied and trimmed the deficit to five entering the final quarter. Pisgah checked the Wolverine rally, though, and held on for the win.
