Partnership for Children of the Foothills recently announced Sarah Eickert as the new Circle of Parents facilitator. She will serve as leader of the two Circle of Parents groups located in Polk County.

Circle of Parents meets weekly and is free of charge. Childcare providers facilitate on-site, age-appropriate activities and supervision for children up to five years of age. During this time, parents and guardians are busy with group discussions and activities of their own. Healthy snacks are also provided.

“It’s a great opportunity for parents that are new to the area or who may not have any family or other support to connect with others just like them,” Eickert shared. “As a mom, I know groups like this are important and give a real sense of community. I hope more parents come and give one of our two groups a try.”

Eickert is the mother of two children. Her daughter, Maci, is a preschooler and her son, Wesley, is two years old. She is expecting another baby in March with her husband Dr. Dominic Eickert, an equine veterinarian at Tryon Equine Hospital. They relocated from Colorado and are settling into the foothills nicely.
