Polk lands four on All-MF7 girls tennis squad

A quartet of Polk County players has been named to the 2023 Mountain Foothills 7 Women’s Tennis All-Conference team.

Wolverine players Bella Sheffron, Sarah Vitale, Elizabeth Vitale and Cate Brown each received selection to the All-MF7 quad.

The quartet helped Polk County post an 11-3 record this season and reach the state 1A quarterfinals.

Hendersonville’s Eliza Perry was named the conference player of the year, with Hendersonville’s Michael Jones named the conference coach of the year.

 

The complete All-MF7 squad:

East Rutherford: Lulu Price

Hendersonville: Anna McDowell, Eliza Perry, Raleigh Prichard, Reese Redden, Ramsey Ross

Polk County: Cate Brown, Bella Sheffron, Elizabeth Vitale, Sarah Vitale

R-S Central: Alexis Nanney

Honorable mention: Marley Stewart, Brevard; Sophia Gallian, Hendersonville
