Would you take a pie in the face to help a shelter dog or cat? How about get your head shaved or jump into a pool filled with slime? That and many more fun challenges are all part of the activities when Kris Rotondo of Jordan’s Way visits Foothills Humane Society for one of his Facebook Live events to bring attention to animals in need and to help raise funds for them. He will be holding this Facebook Live event this Saturday, November 4, from 6 to 9 p.m.

In the past few years, Kris has raised almost $7 million for shelters and helped many dogs to get adopted. Foothills Humane Society in Columbus is fortunate to be included in Kris’s current 50-state tour.  Kris and the staff and board have lots of fun activities and challenges planned for the evening.

Polk County Animal Control Officer Patti Lovelace has agreed that if $10,000 is raised by midnight, she will sleep overnight in one of the dog kennels. That and many more incentives will be part of the event which will include other members of the community.
