LANDRUM—Hundreds of trick-or-treaters and characters of all ages enjoyed a warm autumn evening at the Landrum Halloween Stroll on Saturday.

Businesses doled out treats along Rutherford St. and N. Trade Ave., and participants lined up for the annual costume contest near the railroad tracks. The winner of the Great Scarecrow Caper contest, Miss Tammy’s Little Learning Center, was also announced at the event.

“This was our biggest crowd ever,” the City of Landrum said on a social media post. “We want to give a special thanks to the Landrum Police Department, Landrum Fire & Rescue, Rescue 11, our City of Landrum Crew, LHS Beta Club, all of our local businesses, our community groups, our churches, our events committee, but most of all to everyone who came out to ‘fall in love with Landrum!’”
