Brevard captured the Mountain Foothills 7 Conference Volleyball Tournament title on Wednesday, defeating Polk County 3-1 in the championship match in Brevard.

The Blue Devils (26-2) took a 25-11, 23-25, 25-12, 26-24 win to add the tourney title to their regular-season crown.

Polk County dropped to 22-3, with all three losses to Brevard.

The Wolverines will now await Thursday’s announcement of the 1A West playoff bracket. The first round of the state playoffs is set for Saturday.

Sophia Overholt had 10 kills and 16 digs for Polk County, with Morgan Yoder recording seven kills. Elena Carroll had 22 digs and five kills.

Mia Bradley finished with 11 digs, four aces and three kills. Ada Kelley had eight digs.

Zaelea Eller recorded 14 assists for Polk County.
