The Tryon Country Club Women’s Golf Association played a 1Best Ball of 4 format, along with a closest-to-the-pin contest, on October 10. The weather was cool, but the golf course was in great condition. The results were as follows:

 

1st place – Gross – Joyce Arledge, Becky Kennedy, Heidi Shull, (BP) Lisa Bjerring

1st place – Net – Mary Lou Diekmann, Lisa Bjerring, Cindy Caldwell, Brenda Hudson

Closest-to-the-pin  on #12 – Tracey Beaver – 8’ 3”
