During the Rotary Club of Tryon’s meeting last week, Rotarian Bill Hillhouse was recognized as a multiple Paul Harris Fellow.
Rotarians are recognized as Paul Harris Fellows for their initial, significant donation to the Rotary International Foundation. Past District Governor Ken Shull was at the meeting to recognize Hillhouse as a multiple Paul Harris Fellow for his continued, significant contributions to the Rotary International Foundation.
The Rotary International Foundation is recognized as a 4-star charity (highest level) by Charity Navigator with over 91% of donations going to support grants and operations. The mission of the Foundation is to help members advance world understanding, goodwill and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment and alleviating poverty.
