Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Many of the good works done by volunteer organizations in our area happen because groups collaborate so frequently. A recent example illustrates this very thing.

The Tryon History Museum is involved in raising significant funds to accomplish a move into brand-new quarters near the end of this year.

A new partner to the museum is the Landrum Quilters, which recently donated six hand-quilted pieces that the museum will raffle off to help raise money for their fund drive. Landrum Quilters President Christy Hall said her talented group was happy to spread the art of quilting by donating pieces for the raffle.
