Wolverine volleyball players among statewide statistical leaders

A number of Polk County volleyball players are among the state leaders across all classes in various statistical categories.

All data is from MaxPreps and based on team submissions to that service.

Junior Morgan Yoder is currently listed as the state leader in hitting percentage, her efficient .568 rating ahead of the .552 of Kings Mountain’s Myracle Davis. Yoder is also 23rd in the state with 136 kills and 28th in total blocks with 35.

Yoder recently surpassed 500 career kills and now has 573.

Senior Zaelea Eller sits 31st in the state in assists with 237, and she recently surpassed 700 career assists and now has 738. Fellow senior Elena Carroll is 29th in North Carolina in digs with 156.

Junior Sophia Overholt also recently racked up her 500th career kill and now sits at 521. She also has 767 career digs, closing in on 800.
