Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Campobello Ada Campbell, 93, of Campobello passed away on August 30, 2023.  She was the
daughter of the late Oather & Effie Lykins Allen and the wife of the late William Robert Campbell.

Ada retired from the United States Postal Service in Williamsburg, Kentucky, and moved to the Links of Tryon 25 years ago. Ada was an avid golfer for 50 years and loved her rounds at her home course at The Links as well as Hilton Head Island and numerous courses in North and South Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky. She loved to travel and see new places whether by plane, boat, or car but never missed an opportunity for a beach vacation. Ada loved to shop and thrift store browsing became a wonderful pastime and source of small treasures. Ada’s friends and neighbors at the Links of Tryon were a source of happiness for her.
