The Tryon Country Club Men’s Golf Association played a “1-2-3 Best Ball” format on August 14, along with closest-to-the-pin contests on both par 3s. There were 8 teams vying for the win and the scoring was low. The results are listed below:

2nd place – Tracey Beaver, Lynn Morrill, Ann Cotton, (BP) Lib McKeller – 49 points

3rd place – Mary Lou Diekmann, Lib McKeller, Diane Torres, Lisa Bjerring – 40 points
