Foothills Humane Society would like to give recognition and a very special thank you to 7-year-old Maddie Davis of Saluda. 

With her love of animals, Maddie decided she wanted to set up a lemonade stand and donate the proceeds to Foothills Humane Society. Despite the rainy weather on her planned Saturday, Maddie set up her lemonade stand and started serving customers.  

Maddie was able to raise $65, which she proudly brought in to the shelter this week with her mom. All of the cats, dogs, staff and volunteers at Foothills Humane Society are very grateful for this young lady with her giving heart! Great job Maddie!
