Columbus– Sylvia Anne Creasy, 86, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, at Tryon Estates in Columbus.

She was a native of Thomasville, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Beatrice and Reubin Creasy. Miss Creasy served in the United States Navy as a psychiatric Registered Nurse for 40 years and then moved to Tryon Estates in 2005.

Miss Creasy liked classical and opera music, she enjoyed traveling, dining, and helping people.

Her cremains will be interred in the Tryon Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden.

There will be no services.

Memorials may be made to Doctors Without Borders, USA, American Red Cross, or Samaritan’s Purse.
