The Tryon Country Club Women’s Golf Association played a nine-hole 1 Best Ball Of 4 format along with a Closest-to-the-hole contest on Tuesday, August 1. The weather and course conditions were ideal, and there were 5 foursomes competing for the win. The results are listed below:

 

1st place Gross – Tracey Beaver, Jo Ann Silvia, Caroline Brown, (BP) Anne Connolly

 

2nd place Gross – Ann Cotton, Ann Gargiulo, Faith Weathington, Lib McKeller

 

1st place Net – Marge Avery, Lisa Bjerring, Stephanie Demeranville, Brenda Hudson

 

2nd place Net – Kathy Clark, Reid Toth, Becky Kennedy, Anne Connolly
