Polk County Schools has announced its Open House schedule for schools across the district in advance of the start of the 2023-24 school year.

Monday, August 14 is the first day of classes for all Polk County schools.

Open House events scheduled across the district include:

 

Polk Central Elementary

Kindergarten Jumpstart will be held on Thursday, August 10 from 8 to 11 a.m. Families should register their student for the day in advance. Open House will also be held on August 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. for students in grades 1-5.

 

Saluda Elementary

Meet the Teacher will be held on August 10 from 4 to 6 p.m.

 

Sunny View Elementary

Kindergarten Camp will be held on August 10 from 8 to 11:30 a.m., with Open House from 4 to 6 p.m.

 

Tryon Elementary

Meet and Greet will be held on Thursday, August 10, from 4 to 6 p.m.

 

Polk County Middle

Open House will be held on August 10 from 3 to 5 p.m.

 

Polk County High

Walk Your Schedule Night for incoming ninth graders and new students will be held on August 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

 

Polk County Early College

Open House will be held on Thursday, August 10 from 10 a.m. 3 p.m.
