TRYON—Jason Currin, the athletic trainer at St. Luke’s Hospital, was the speaker at last week’s Rotary Club of Tryon meeting. 

Jason works with both the hospital and Polk County Schools to ensure all of the school’s athletes are healthy and prepared to play.

The hospital and the schools use this partnership to ensure all athletes are healthy enough to begin a sporting season and then provide medical care if students become injured. The health of student-athletes is a major concern for the students, parents and the school system. This partnership ensures every athlete is able to participate at peak condition.
