Conserving Carolina is thrilled to announce a series of bilingual (Spanish and English) walks that will take place across our service region in Henderson, Transylvania, and Polk Counties. These walks will be held on public lands that Conserving Carolina has helped to create including DuPont State Recreational Forest, the Park at Flat Rock, Vaughn Creek Greenway, and the Brevard Greenway.

On Saturday, July 22, the walk will be held at DuPont State Recreational Forest from 9 a.m.  to 1 p.m. The group will explore one of DuPont State Forest’s beautiful trails, an easy to moderate, 3.1-mile out and back, to view the 25-foot Wintergreen Falls. This walk will be great for the whole family.

Registration is required. To RSVP, find the event at www.conservingcarolina.org/calendar.
