The program begins at dusk, approximately 9 p.m., but it’s recommended to arrive by 8 p.m. for parking and seating. The fireworks celebration serves as a fundraiser for the Saluda Volunteer Fire Department, and visitors and guests are encouraged to make a donation.

Guests enjoying the campground during the day and those attending the fireworks show are not permitted to bring alcohol onto the property, and overnight guests may only have alcohol on their campsites. No guests are permitted to have their own fireworks of any kind on the property.

Visitors arriving after 7 p.m. are not required to pay for a full day pass, but are still encouraged to donate. Those who arrive before 7 p.m. can register for day passes at the campground’s office, at $8 per person (ages five and under are free).  The day passes grant access to all of the campground’s amenities, including a zip-line, boating, fishing and skate ramps.
