Saturno appointed to board of Habitat for Humanity of NC

Linda Saturno, President/CEO of Thermal Belt Habitat for Humanity and Henderson County Habitat for Humanity has been appointed to serve on the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity of North Carolina. 

“This is a great honor and the appointment will allow me to join other board members in advocating for Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the state,” Saturno said.

Habitat for Humanity of North Carolina (HabitatNC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and one of 31 state support organizations across the country. Founded in 2008 through the efforts of local affiliates, HabitatNC facilitates increased housing production and neighborhood revitalization efforts across the state by providing a central agency to coordinate advocacy activities, provide training and technical support opportunities, aid in disaster recovery and serve as a focal point for disseminating statewide resources. HabitatNC exists to serve and support its affiliate organizations across North Carolina.

Habitat for Humanity is a Christian organization seeking to put God’s love into action. The organization believes that everyone deserves a decent, affordable place to live, and works to achieve that through the stewardship of resources and services that lead to more and better housing for people in need.
