May 4th is nearing. Time to conjure the force and prep your lightsaber. To celebrate Star Wars Day, Polk County Libraries is hosting a movie marathon and adult craft class.

 

This day of fun will take place on Thursday, May 4 at the Columbus Library.

 

Here’s the schedule for the movie event:

 

• A New Hope at 12:15 p.m.
• Empire Strikes Back at 2:45 p.m.
• Return of the Jedi at 5 p.m.

 

Each movie is rated PG and follows the story of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Darth Vader.

 

At 2:30 p.m., the adult craft class will create funky Millennium Falcon suncatchers. Craft class registration is required. Please email amedrano@polklibrary.org to sign up.
