Did you miss your high school prom for one reason or another? Or did you go and have a really memorable time? In either case, adults who are interested in going to the prom will have an opportunity to do so next month.

Now’s your chance to win a free ticket to the Tryon Adult Prom Fundraiser for Outreach on May 5 and get a second chance at a wonderful night of music and dancing with friends. If you are 21 or older, just email your personal prom story of 500 words or less to 2robinedgar@gmail.com. 

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (UUFCF) is partnering with The Congregational Church, UCC to sponsor the Tryon Adult Prom Fundraiser for Outreach. It will be held at the Congregational Church located at 210 Melrose Avenue, Tryon, NC on May 5 from 7 to 10 PM. 

Singles and couples aged 21 and up will shimmy and shake to the music of the Trophy Husbands at this event. Light snacks will be served and beer and wine will be available for a suggested donation. Over $800 in raffle prizes from local merchants will also be available!

All proceeds for this event will directly go to Outreach, an organization that has served Polk County since 1991 so that no individual or family in Polk County goes hungry, cold or without shelter. To learn more about Outreach go to www.tboutreach.org.
