Cristina Chumbler has been a veterinarian for 16 years, most recently at Creature Comforts Veterinary Resort and Suites in Inman, South Carolina. She decided it was time to open her own practice, which will be called “All Seasons Veterinary Hospital.”

“I love what I do,” says Chumbler. “I want to start a privately owned veterinary hospital with a culture of professionalism, personalized care for patients, and develop trusting relationships with their owners.”

When Chumbler decided to open her own practice, she says she wanted to be as close to downtown Tryon as possible, citing her love of the town and its pet-friendly nature. When 486 South Trade Street became available Chumbler says she jumped at the opportunity.

“We are planning a complete remodel of the building to transform it into a fully equipped and functional veterinary hospital,” says Chumbler. “We are consciously focusing on creating a clean, quiet, and calming environment for our patients and clients.”

All Seasons Veterinary Hospital will provide wellness care for all ages of dogs and cats. Services will include management of acute and chronic medical conditions, soft tissue surgery including spays and neuters, dentistry, diagnostics including blood work, x-rays and ultrasound, daytime emergency services and hospitalization when needed. Chumbler says she hopes to open in late summer or early fall.

Chumbler received her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Georgia and currently provides relief services to regional veterinary hospitals in need of assistance. She lives in Landrum with her husband Jamey, their two children Nora and Carder and their dogs Maple and Kobe.
