Polk County Volleyball Club’s 13s team took seventh place Sunday in the Adidas Challenge Series #2 tournament, held in Spartanburg and Fletcher.

 

PCVC Heather finished with a 2-2 record. The team won its first two matches in pool play before dropping a tough 25-20, 25-22 decision to Stars 13 Scout, the eventual tournament champion.

 

PCVC Heather then suffered a 21-25, 25-23, 15-10 loss against Ashe Alliance 13 in the Silver bracket semifinals.

 

PCVC’s 15s team placed ninth in its division, finishing 1-4 for the weekend. PCVC Kara’s lone win came in a 25-18, 18-25, 15-10 over Biltmore Volleyball Academy 15-2.
