Polk County closed its indoor track and field regular season on Saturday with a late addition to its schedule, the Final Opportunities meet in G.M. Tennant Stadium.

With a meet originally planned at West Henderson canceled, Polk County staged Saturday’s event in order to give athletes one final attempt to qualify for the state indoor track and field championships, slated for Saturday at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem.
