TRYON–Tryon Downtown Development Association (TDDA) is hosting a preliminary meeting for all those interested in the arts in Tryon. All are welcome at the brainstorming session on Tuesday, February 7 at 6 p.m. at the Tryon Depot Room.
“The goal of this meeting will be to connect organizations, businesses and individuals who are interested in supporting art in all its forms,” said TDDA Director Michelle Newman. The topics for discussion will include the 4th Friday Art Walks, public art initiatives, and collaborative opportunities.
“Our goal is to come away with a sense of the community’s priorities for public art initiatives and a game plan of actionable steps,” said Newman.
Artists, organizations, businesses, and residents with an interest in any discipline of art are invited to the meeting. For more information, contact TDDA at downtowndirector@tryonnc.gov or call 828-817-5523.
