The Foundation for St. Luke’s Hospital recently kicked off the 2023 Teammate Giving Campaign. Over 180 St. Luke’s employees chose to financially give back to support St. Luke’s new cardiology program, preop room renovations, and the St. Luke’s Employee Fund.

With an outstanding 75% participation, St. Luke’s employees raised almost $34,000 for important hospital projects. Amanda Thompson, Executive Director of The Foundation for St. Luke’s Hospital shared, “This generosity speaks volumes on the dedication of our staff and their desire to support the quality healthcare St. Luke’s provides to our community each day.”

The Foundation Board hosted a variety of fun tailgating-themed events for the staff to promote the campaign including  Pretzel Day, Popcorn Day, a Hot Cocoa Bar, and a Hot Dog Lunch. The Board thanks Manzolina’s Eatery and Rentals in Tryon for providing the equipment and delicious food, and the following local businesses for providing door prizes: The Brass Beard Barbershop, Carruth’s Furniture, Food Lion in Columbus, Green River BBQ, Mill Spring Farm Store, Pro Chem, The Southern Pet, and Tractor Supply in Columbus.

Employees at the hospital recently enjoyed a Hot Cocoa Bar, just one of the fun tailgating-themed events for the staff to promote the campaign.
